Regional Palliative Approach

  • Goals of Care –  The Regional Palliative Approach team wants to learn more about ways to improve transitions between community and acute care. Are you a patient or a family member of a patient who has experienced transitions in and out of hospital? If so, your input and perspective would be greatly appreciated.

Home Support

  • Review of Regional Home Support Pamphlet & Client Handbook Do you have experience with Home Support? The Home Support pamphlet is designed for anyone who needs to know what Home Support is. The current pamphlet has not been updated for several years. The team is also developing a regional Home Support client handbook so that new clients have all the information they need about the service they receive.

Maternal Child Program

  • Vaginal Birth CollaborativeHave you given birth in the last 5 years? This working group needs to hear from you! Caesarean section (C/S) rates have climbed over the years in Vancouver Coastal Health and this project team thinks the most effective way to address this is by focusing on increasing vaginal birth rates. This working group is seeking 1-2 patient partners who have given birth within the last 5 years.

The BC Emergency Medicine Network (BC EMN) is seeking patient partners to provide their input and expertise to modify information sheets given to patients when they leave the emergency department.
